Christmas Greetings

I send to all my wonderful friends, those here in New Zealand and  in  many other countries, overseas,   the Best Wishes for a Joyous Christmas, Peace, Happiness, and  Good Health We might not know each other by meeting on the street, having a phone call, or travelling together, but our friendship  is so strong.

These last few months have shown me the true and so very real value of friends here in Blogger, you have all been so caring, and supportive with comments and emails, sending love, wishes for Hugh to improve, and messages for me too. I thank you so much.

Hugh is well, he has  recovered from Cardiac Surgery ,and is looking forward to next year with maybe a new challenge, or two or more. His List is impressive!!!

My  “Bucket List” was short, for 2013, I hope to begin a “ Diploma in Digital Photography” and finish the many started projects , but it must surely include one most important item"

“ Travel overseas and meet all my friends”

Take care, enjoy some time to  rest, reflect, join in celebrations, and  begin  the New Year with happiness in your heart.

Some photos from our home, our trips around New Zealand, and sunrise to sunset.

Quotation of the day, for Christmas 2012 from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“ I heard the bells on Christmas Day their old, familiar carols play,

And wild and sweet the words repeat of peace on earth, good-will to men”

Greetings to all from Jean

I do Linda, I had so many problems, it wouldn't load, had trouble viewing it, then found out (and why dont' they/someone/anyone tell me first) that I couldn't view it until my blog was published!!! Dreams are free, and so is SIT, apart from course fees, no student fees, and I can do the diploma with "distance learning". another very hot day here, garden is drying out even with watering every day. Cheers from Jean

Hi Kathy and Nicky, yes we have had our present-opening, my day started about 4.30 a.m. and the early sky was beautiful, too good to pass by.Lovely words, thank you so much . Outside we have...36.9 Celsius in the sunshine, so all cool breezes, if any, are coming in the door on the west side. Christmas Greetings reciprocated in full, from Jean

Oh what a wonderful soothing video I just loved seeing your country side. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Oh I am getting so excited about getting a new camera. Found a group at flickr for the FZ200 just looked at the photos so far and am impressed with both the long distance and close-ups. Take really great action shots. In other reviews I did read those looking to make really huge photos like over 20X might get into some graininess. Also can get a little grainy at high IS0, but aside from the cost still has great reviews from everyone. Especially older serious photographers who nolonger want to pack all the gear or spend time holding the heavier cameras. I too would love to take a course once I get the camera. When I loaded my video into windows live writer I was able to view it before uploading. I used the embed link when I added it. Anyway so glad you got it up.

Nancy J said...

Carrie, yes I was so very happy when the video did load. I am looking at Vimeo, as a trial, not the super pay site they have. Your camera choice is good, have you held one yet? Hope your trip goes well, Cheers from Jean
