I look at the news on TV, listen, and despair at the turmoil. war and strife throughout the world, and am so thankful for safety and peace where we live down here. Enjoy your day, greetings from Jean.

Thanks for the early greetings, it's not quite the fourth here yet ;-) We're presently having thundershowers with close lightning strikes, loud booms of thunder and spurts of heavy rain. Not quite fireworks, but as noisy!

Yes, the TV news is a good reminder of the blessings that do exist where we live.

Hi Kathleen, yes, all OK here, but I have been so busy with the "sewing project"!!! We have had some frosts, then cloudy mornings, not much sunshine, lots of rain, but more daylight hours . Spring bulbs are poking through the ground. Hope all is OK with you, p.s. love the pumpkins. Cheers from Jean
