Weather Warnings!!

US weather hazard map

This morning on our TV, photos showed huge snowfalls, hazardous driving conditions and plummeting temperatures. Warnings of all kinds, from west to east, and all places in-between.

Take care, all my friends in the North, wrap up warmly, drive safely, keep those fires burning.

Quotation of the day,author unknown

“ No matter what the weather,

friends will always bring sunshine to your day”

Greetings from Jean

Up in my part of Canada, the snow has melted and it's 11C, with rain :(

I sure hope we have a white Christmas!

We prepared for freezing rain and icy roads. We must have done a very good job, because we didn't get anything, just a dull, grey day.

Jean
We got over a foot of snow last night and it is still blowing like crazy out there!
It was 10 degrees warmer today though.

Next 7 days we are to remain in the upper 20's during the day and fall to around 18 at night. Looks like Florida will opt out again!

Sometimes I wonder if the weather in the States gets as much news time there as it does here. With two kids on the east coast, I heard nothing from them about the Thanksgiving week predictions.

I rest my case, Jean! I will be coming to you for our weather report from now on!! lol
We are a hardy lot here in Nova Scotia and can pretty well handle anything 'mother nature' throws at us.

Thanks for thinking of all of us. It has been dangerously cold here but we only have about 6" of snow.

Enjoy your summertime!
