And now you will have one more 'tool' to help you create! (I just ordered 2 new lenses for my camera that I hope will do the same thing for me!) And by the way, yes, we did see Bridal Veil Falls in NZ, I think it was between Hamilton and Raglan. It was beautiful!!! Here is one photo from there, taken after a huge storm: http://whatkarensees.blogspot.com/2015/09/bridal-falls-new-zealand.htmlWhat Karen Seeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07794694138108500767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450572385521130262.post-55318450627213529792017-07-14T02:19:10.367+12:002017-07-14T02:19:10.367+12:00Oh wow, so exciting! The lady who bought it came with a mechanically inclined friend who could help her, and it was all dismantled, moved and re-assembled in less than four hours. The next day we heard it was working fine and she loved it. Mrs. F.G. Is looking to get a newer but smaller one when we move. So I know all about long arm machines, what they are worth, and what you can do with them Bravo for you! Hope you really enjoy it! Mrs. F.G. found that the setup of a quilt on the machine was the challenge, but the quilting went smoothly once it was set up.The Furry Gnomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02485265576983125216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450572385521130262.post-43430067961223936142017-07-10T11:04:07.162+12:002017-07-10T11:04:07.162+12:00How exciting indeed - no doubt you will be busy pr...How exciting indeed - no doubt you will be busy practising, and practising for a wee while until it becomes second nature. I like the suggestion about putting meals together in a crockpot, if you have one. Then you can quilt away happily while smelling your delicious meal cooking all by itself.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13596754983215564299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450572385521130262.post-30433544734476298502017-07-10T09:44:54.529+12:002017-07-10T09:44:54.529+12:00That is exciting news, Jean. Been basically working in dark as my overhead room light died and I upgraded to LED. You would not believe how bright it is now. They should be able to see me working on my quilts 1/2 a mile down the road. Look forward to seeing all your lovely quilting finishes when up and running. Hugs to you and Hugh. A bit cold in the garage, and yes, the crock pot will come in very handy. If I was here by myself, the big lounge would be perfect. Large windows, good lights, a fire in the winter, doors that open for summer, but with a TV there for evening entertainment, how could I take it over for just myself? oh well, I am so happy with what I have right now.Nancy Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11854698513524662527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450572385521130262.post-56705218273926837372017-07-10T07:53:41.990+12:002017-07-10T07:53:41.990+12:00That is so fun! This might be bad news for Hugh, but I've heard of quilters emptying out the living room and setting up the quilting machine in there, then using a larger bedroom as a sitting room.
