Of course, I thought of others too, but your family is my personal connection to New Zealand. I couldn't reply until right now because I have to go to a library to access the internet. I always say prayers for victims of an earthquake. It is an awful thing to go through, and the aftermath is difficult. I've been through a number of shakers and what I call gliders where the ground seems to slip more than rock during the years that I lived in California. But never a 7.5 which is a huge quake, much bigger than those I experienced. Take care, my special friend! Pleased you are all OK but not good that you had such a good shake there. It is devastating to see the destruction in the South Island once again, and dear Kaikoura which I loved.
