The Temporary Home away from Home

We have moved, and the new family at our previous home are so happy. The lawn was mown, bearded Iris were in flower, the Clematis was flowering high in the trees, and all was well.

The first night, it was so cold,  and ice  on the windscreens the Friday morning. Felicity has settled into the caravan as though she lived there all her life, we get to see the Eastern sky as the sun rises over the Ruahine ranges, photos to come later on.

There is no internet access where we  are, so the local public library is so handy for now.

Meantime, here are a few photos again from the archives.

The Ruahine Ranges with a topping of  snow.

I thought of you at the weekend leaving your home of so many years. It is good that the new owners are so happy with it.

Your next move will be the major one with all the furniture etc. to be moved. Glad Felicity has settled in - most important.

Glad to know your move is going well. The scenery itself is glorious and Felicity feels secure. I know how cold a caravan can feel though and will be glad when you are all settled into your new home.

So happy for you, and so glad Felicity has settled in happily (reminds me of Bella when we'd move from Ontario to Florida!) in her temporary home. :-)

You're having an adventure. Stay well, dear friend. You must be tired from all the packing.

Your fur-babies are so beautiful! Now don't get too chilly in your temporary abode, cuddle up with some quilts and kitties and you keep warm. Your spring looks wonderful, as autumn's temperatures cool down here in NE central Oregon, USA. We are high and dry, 8 inches of rain annually.

It must be a good feeling to see your former home being appreciated. Glad the critters are adjusting well.

You sound so positive. When we moved from the lake I was heartbroken. It's great you found great new owners.
