Sunrise Greeted Us with An Announcement

Early eastern sky#1

Morning sky to the East

Morning dawned, with the news of the birth  of the Prince of Cambridge.  Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, may their lives  together be filled with laughter, love and happiness, with good health  thrown in as well.

Quotation of the day, from Edna J Le Shan

“A new baby is like the beginning of all things-

Wonder, Hope, a dream of possibilities”

Greetings from Jean

That first shot is awesome.

It was great to hear that the new little royal made his debut into the world.

Have a great week Jean and thank you so much for your love, support and encouragement.

What gorgeous photos! The colors almost look unreal, they are so vivid. Thanks for sharing those, I do not see those colors often in the sky here!

Beautiful shots Jean, I've missed checking in. I've gotta a new computer so it's taken me a bit to learn all the new tricks. Look forward to checking in on a regular basis. :)

Indeed, very beautiful sunrise photos. Did the old tale of "Red sky in the morning" hold true?

Nancy J said...

Craig, quite probably, we have had few days lately, that have had lots of sunshine, and "shepherd's warning" was no doubt in Patrick's mind as he watched the last ewes, before they had their lambs. I long to be out in a wide open area, that has no power lines, houses, or near trees for skies like this, maybe one day soon. Thanks for your lovely words, I do so appreciate comments, they make me realise how lucky I am to have friends all over. Cheers from Jean.

Hi Val, great to know you are back again, all grey here this morning. Cheers, Jean.

What a beautiful sky. All I have seen for a month now is blue blue blue. Not complaining just so much watering. It does stay nice in cool in the loghouse. I got 200 photos ready to start making my homemade cards. I have a work area set up. So if I can get a few hours a week in I will be happy with my progress. I just hope I can keep my interest there. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs Carrie

A glorious sunrise... one of my favorite things in life.

Sunrise , my best and favourite time of the day, quiet, birds waking, no traffic noise, the sky changing colour, first cup of coffee, I could not find anything better. Cheers to you all, Jean. p.s. did you guess I am truly a morning person ( sometimes called a fowl, definitely not an owl!!)
