The leaves are changing colour more and more every day.in the early morning sunshine they glow gold and burgundy for those few minutes.
I look at them and try to forget any problems in our lives right now. Not a “miracle lasting” day today, pain is back again, so a very go-slow, for Hugh. I did some sewing, a thank you gift for our “Silver Chariot” man, Kevin. Some phone calls, and now an evening meal to concoct!!!
This had a dreamy look to it, a ’la Monet???
While I was there, Felicity followed, and played in the leaves.
A few Cherry Blossom trees still have green leaves, I wonder why they don’t all change colour at the same time.

I love it when the leaves change colour.
I'm sorry to hear that Hugh is having a rough day. Have the doctors ever mentioned nerve block injections?
The Dalai Lama says that the meaning of life is finding happiness. Simple things make me happy, like changing leaves and kitty cats. :) Hope Hugh feels better tomorrow.
I agree with Janet above the simple things in life make me happy. And the quote is wonderful. I hope your Hugh feels better soon! Love the beautiful colors and images. Enjoy the rest of your week!
Autumcolors are alway nice to watch. Here its soon spring and that is nice too.

I'm so sorry to hear Hugh's in pain again.
My BIL get an epidural injection, which helps with his back pain.
Maybe you can check into this?
Beautiful Fall, one of the most special times for me.
i am sorry hugh did not have a good day. thanks for sharing your fall colors and your adorable cat. :)
Very nice pictures
Well, here's hoping this is just a bump in the road to recovery. It sounds so miserable. Your photos are wonderful and I love your fluffy cat!
I too hope that this is just a small bump for Hugh, and he'll be back to feeling better again tomorrow.
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos.
Checking in, Jean. I'm so disappointed that Hugh's pain is back. Glad you still find solace and beauty in your surroundings. We're in the city - no snow! Take Care.
I'm late getting here, but hope that Hugh is feeling better, and you have a peaceful and uneventful weekend to enjoy the lovely colors and cats!
Take care!
Thank you all so very much, loving words, caring wishes and more, all mean so much. Friday and today a big improvement, specialist appointment brought forward by 3 weeks. Joy!!! Since last week more leaves have changed to gold, and tonight we turn back our clocks one hour, as daylight saving comes to an end this season. A mystery, as there will always be 24 hours in any day, no matter what the clock says. Maybe a sleep-in tomorrow!! Cheers, Jeam.
A 'charming gardener' you are Jean.
That photo is very a la Monet--ish! A real beauty.
Sorry to hear that Hugh's pain has returned. Hopefully not for long. Sending positive energy from here to you both......sent!
Thanks for your comment - so sorry to hear that Hugh's pain is back again. Like me your stress level must be constantly high.
Lovely autumn photos.
The plants in my pots are pohutukawa.
