I recently loaded a free photo processing program, “ Lightzone” and am learning what is has , how to use it all, and wonder if will I ever need or get to use everything it has!!!
A few photos from my collection, with processing to enhance, beautify, or alter to the extreme.

Fun colours!
Gee Nancy amazing photos!
Isn't it fun to play with your photos? These are gorgeous, Jean.
Lots of fun, and I have just realised the fun photo of the sunrise is almost the same as the header, probably taken the same morning. So much to learn with this new program, I can see something will have to take the very back seat for a while. Cheers, Jean
What fun you had! Colors are so mood changing and we are blessed to have so many variations in life.
Love the quote.
Have a GREAT weekend ~ Love and hugs ~ FlowerLady
I think you did a fine job with that Jean. Beautiful images.
Enjoy! Love your quote today! G
it makes them look like oil paintings. :)
I get a kick out of playing with the apps, too. I really like the coastline one. Hoping you and Hugh are feeling better.
Wow, the volcanic plume one is stunning!
Thanks for all your words, I so enjoy and appreciate your comments, this was a lot of fun, huge experimental stage right now, "Lightzone" is a free download, and from what I have read, no time limit. The link was on "Ugly Hedgehog", email me or leave a request if you would like the correct one. Cheers,Jean
I've been having some fun with an app that changes photos to sort of paintings! It's an interesting creative endeavour, isn't it?!
I do love the photos!
Someone is having FUN here! You will have a blast with this Jean.....you can create any effect you wish....or not.
Jean, your images are beautiful. Looks like fun playing around with the program..Love the quote, enjoy your day and the week ahead!

Photo processing is fun, but I wondered if I was 'cheating' and if I could just take a photo correctly from my camera then I wouldn't need to rely on post processing. A photographer commented that post processing takes skill and an eye also and just being able to do it is a talent in itself. That took away my reservations about 'tweaking' a picture.
It's an whole nother world of photography when you start playing with photos and the changes you can make. I have windows 8 as well as my iPod and I love all the free photo apps you can use to do so many things with your photos. I just finally found one for adding quotes to my photos. It was free for one day. When the app is open and ready I just shake my iPod and a quote comes up and I just keep shaking til I get a quote I want to use then pick one of my photos to add the quote to and pick the fonts and colors. I love it. I am so bad with words and this made it so easy. While I was camping I have created 26 photos withe quotes I will be posted soon to my Creations by Here I Am Facebook page. I can see you are going to enjoy what you can do with photos as well. So many photos you may think aren't very good can be changed to something of a work of art. Have fun with it.
