Hugh has a video of the boat being launched, and I did a fast frame of the retrieval.There was a lot of wind noise, and I can see I need a sound muffler for my camera before I do this again.
We have escaped the wind and rain that Cyclone Pam has brought to many northern and East Coast areas, and as Pam moves south, the Chatham Islands are in readiness, with warnings in place. I hope they are safe.

Cyclone Pam is still moving south east and is expected to maintain its intensity, or may even intensify slightly, reaching the Chatham Islands around midday Tuesday. A warning is now in place for severe gales, heavy rain and heavy swells for the Chatham Islands.

That cardio-surgery room looks very familiar to me, Jean. I can remember the doctor telling me everything that was going on and also that he couldn't get to the sub-artery that was clogged in order to put in a stent. 'It will grow another artery in that spot', he said. And that was it!
I have never seen a contraption/machine like that around here for boat launching and retrieval . Very impressive.

The table Hugh graced looks mighty familiar, Jean. Maybe all operating rooms look the same but my memory laced with pain killers just seems that everything was OK but not at the same time ~~ so weird. I do believe everyone who has gone through heart stents can feel the same feeling as you are splayed out on the table looking at the video screen above "that's actually my heart?!!!" This is one unbelievable process.
