March seemed to fly past, daylight saving has ended, April Fool’s Day had no dramas at our place, and the March block is all finished. Late afternoon photos, a little breeze, and Boris on standby for any assistance he could give.
The One plus One block went together so well. NO points this time, easy seams to match, and as always Sandy from Upstairs Hobby Room gave us another stunning design. No snow to use as a background, just trees or green grass. And Boris had to put in his usual “ paw’s test” and passed it as OK.
The beautiful Brunsvigia Josephinae is blooming again this year.It needs a hot dry summer ,“tick”, lots of sunshine ,“ tick”, and resents being moved, “tick”.This was a bulb from our dear friend Hec in Rotorua, it has been moved 3 times, but has stayed put in this part of the garden for a few years.

Good thing you have Boris to do a CAT scan on every quilt.
The One Plus One block is a beauty, Jean. Boris is such an elegant looking guy with his distinctive markings including an "M" for "Mighty" on his forehead. Your lily is beautiful -- a treat for my winter-weary eyes.
Beautiful Boris! And a very stunning 'block', Jean. What a pro you are!
Spring here but one would never guess that, as the wind and snow are howling outside on this Sunday evening around 6:50 PM. It is typical however for April in Nova Scotia.....tomorrow it will all melt....until another comes by.
have a wonderful week, Jean.
Boris the faithful "Quilt Tester" :-)
Both Boris and the new quilt are beautiful. It is quite scary the way this year is flying past.
Nice block design. And a beautiful flower!
Beautiful quilt, love the tiny red border! My cat 'inspect' my quilts too. Oh what a pretty flower, glad it survived the transplants!
Nice block and such a fine choice of fabrics to set it off.
Your flower reminds me of a spider lily sort of, though those don't seem to mind moving and the leaves don't come until the flowers are finished.
Hello, love the block design. Very pretty quilt. Boris is a beautiful cat. Pretty flowers, they look delicate. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Your background of green looks great to my eyes! It is a great design and as you say, no pesky points. I love when pets have final say on our projects and yours seems to have passed the 'feel' test.
Your kitty looks so serene on that beautiful quilt. And I love the quote. Nature helps sme so much.
Love that quilt block, seems Boris thinks so too!
beautiful block. i like the kitty paperweight, too. :)
Pretty little quilt, simple designs are so fun to do.
My cats always tested each quilt for quality, sometimes even trying to rearrange the blocks on my "design floor".
Beautiful quilt and your cat is darling! :)

Boris has extremely good taste, Jean! Your bloom is a vivid shade of pink as you head into fall.
I have dogs to poke their nose into my quilt photos.
Your block looks lovely.
Nice to see you pop up again. I like that block. Nice to see puss cat approves too!
Greenery, flowers. So heart-warming!
I love the tulip, too.
JB's off doing meals again, then buying and having installed summer tires (even though we expect snow this afternoon), then he has to travel to the next town to get his supplements. I get the day off! :-)
love love love your fabric and colour placement, it is just perfect!!
Jean as always I love your fabrics and colour choices!! Just perfect!!
Gorgeous - love the colors, and your beautiful flowers. Glad your quilt passed the CAT scan!
I love that quilt. The colors are stunning, and I'm glad that Boris approves ")
Lovely colors and design in your block, Jean, you reallly finish them quickly, and Boris seems happy to give his expert opinion. The rare flower is very pretty and unusual too.
Boris certainly lucked out when he wandered into your lives! Beautiful quilting piece!
