The Fastest Fox Of All

I drafted the pattern pieces on Friday, cut a few parts out, Saturday, sewed some together, and today Foxy is all done. He went on an adventure in the garden, had a wee game with Boris, and maybe, just maybe, might have a lady friend join him later this week.

“ I sat on the table, quite a good view from here”

Foxy #1

“ Maybe a better one from the small shrub”

Foxy #2

“ This is it, high in the hedge, I can see to the front gate now”

Foxy #3

“ Oh, the best of all, sitting in the shade under Hugh’s Dad’s Memorial  Weeping Silver Pear Tree” A special place for all photo shoots, so I am sure this will look great”Foxy under Hugh's Dad's memorial tree.

“ Time for a game with Boris, I hope he plays nicely!! I know he can be a bit rough at times! Oopsy, over I fall”

Foxy and Boris together

oops!! He fell over.Poor Foxy!!

“ Oh well, there goes Boris to check out the goldfish! That’s my fun for today”

The yellow lilies are almost all open, the first ones dying off, and the perfume as strong as ever.

Last of the yellow lilies

Thank you all again for your special words and thoughts. Go slow is the story every day, no running!! Skating !! Housework!! ( as if ) and no stress!!

Oh my goodness that cat is hilarious. I am allergic to cats but had them years and years ago when I was younger. Carol

I love this cute little fox! Wherever you put him, he's fits perfectly (except with the goldfish) and I'm jealous of the beautiful lilies you get to enjoy!

You have a knack for matching those quotes with your posts...this one is perfect. I loved seeing that tiny nest...always marvel how they make them with a beak as the tool! Your fox is adorable and no, we are never too old for a teddy bear or hugs. Oh as well, so nice for me to see your lilies...all white and gray here lately(but warmer!).

Oh my gosh! This guy is so CUTE!!!!! I am seriously in love. And seriously impressed - you made the pattern for him yourself? I don't think I have the spatial expertise to do that with a 3D pattern.

Your batik Foxy is adorable! He makes a fine garden tour guide. I hope he does get a Mrs. soon!. ;-)

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments. Foxy is getting some friends, 3 are cut, one is partly finished, one stays here, the other two will fly away very soon, one to Tennessee, the other to further south near Christchurch in New Zealand. The pattern was in an Australian Homespun magazine, not my original at all, full credit to Anthea Christian. I will mention her when I post the rest of Foxy's friends.

With all the goings on at our place recently I must have missed this post!!! Adore Foxy and I have the pattern but it's languishing in my file - must get on with it!! Lovely to see the lillies - I can almost catch a little of the scent if I try really hard!!
