WYSIWYG

The 400 error is still lingering and may have taken up permanent residence.  So I am now back to doing a post totally in Blogger format.
The garden has grown in leaps and bounds, well, with ute loads of compost and garden mix, plants and pots, and the lonely gossamer grass has some friends.

Dione over at The Clever Chameleon has started her " Love with a Twist" and the lovely balloon shapes quickly form a #1 Purple Poodle. I know the last 3 months of the Bears are still to be stitched, but they are on fabric and ready to go!!!
I am still deciding  the background fabric, pale or dark?

Now Blogger changes the font colour, insists on underlining the words, so I am almost in as big a muddle as having  no photos.
Never mind, photos or font colours, life continues happily.

Trying to Post again

I am hoping the dreaded “ error 400” has gone and this will in fact be a reality.

The garden edgings are all done, and Dianthus, Gossamer grasses and unseen but lots of bulbs are all in. We get a lot more wind here, and sadly the beautiful Impatiens was  turned bronze to dark brown.

This is the front garden, and the Carex is on a stump.

Everyone who walks past stops and looks and gives us lovely comments about what a difference we have made. This was how it was with one  lonely grass.

Dione over at Clever Chameleon has started a new BOM, with  “ Love with a Twist “ balloon animals. I could not resist starting with “ Purple Poodle’. He is still on baking paper, and will have others to join along as the year progresses , just like the Bears.

Not much more news, slowly getting fabrics where they should be, and plans about to be done for bathroom alterations. Guess that is when the REAL mess will begin.

Update, this would not publish with any photos, so I will have to revert to using Blogger after all.

I will try again

The dreaded error 400 is still popping up, and I cannot post with any photos at all.

However will give it a go.

Dione, over at the The Clever Chameleon has begun the 2019 new BOM, the Love with a Twist block. I could not resist starting the first block, and have a Purple Poodle done, still on baking paper,He made his debut on Facebook.

Meantime Jim Cuvelier,  also over on Facebook gave me a challenge. Post a B&W photo, no words, no people, each day for a week. I read, or thought I had read his words.

NOT so, I posted a photo of myself at the Glenorchy Wharf, some way out of Queenstown and on the way to Paradise. Some words about the area, posted, then read the words again. Oh dear, just as well this wasn’t an exam.I redid the post and hope the second time to pass the grade.

I will keep this short and sweet.

Blogger problems

I did a post with lots of photos and get a 400 error.

So this is a trial with no photos.

We are OK, the garden is doing well, plants are planted, the edging is done, but the spare bedroom sill has , according to a friend…

TOO much stuff!!!

We are working to reduce the massive heap, and slowly it is reducing.

Thank you all so much for lovely words and caring thoughts and good wishes.

Hugh has recently said, “ We are not moving again”!!!

Greetings from Jean.
