Spring Flowers

Spring flowers are blossoming every day, glorious colours. Golden King Alfred daffodils, bright orange/yellow lachenalia, white snowdrops, winter rose flowers in different shades, all with nature’s green shades as backdrops.

Beautiful spring flowers!! It's turned cool here, so it should be warming there. Take care. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Thanks, all, yes flowers galore, warmer days, lighter sky in the morning, I think of you up North, as your summer comes to a close. Greetings from Jean.

Is it spring there already? The flowers seem to say it is. Hope all is well, Jean.

So beautiful, Jean!

Thanks Linda, and YES, Barb, spring has sprung early, officially it begins on September 1st, but the daffs, and all other bulbs, except tulips and iris, are in flower. Mild, almost hot, 19.5 Celsius, 68F, quite tropical, so maybe winter woollies can be packed away soon. However in the far south, they might get another dump of snow, before their days get a lot warmer. Greetings from Jean.

Spring is really my favorite of all seasons--Of course I say that then Fall comes... But your flowers are lovely and I'm sure a welcome sight as your winter ends!

I cannot imagine that it is already spring there. It is still summer here... But I see from your comment that it is early. Wow, what beautiful flowers!

Hi Kim and KB, the golden daffs are a lovely bright spot in the garden. And warmer days, a real treat. Cheers from Jean

That's very early for such warm temperatures isn't it Jean?
Enjoy them and the lovely spring blooms. I'm a big fan of daffodils.

Wonderful - your daffodils are way ahead of mine up here. I picked one still in bud today just because the stem had bent over.

Have had bunches of lachenalia and been surprised at how well they have lasted.

Hi!
How are you doing? Heard you hade an earthquake

Michaele said...

Really nice flower shots, but even nicer that it is spring there. So happy for you to be experiencing it, as we trail off into fall.

Spring is really here, and yes Lindsjo, the earthquake was 209km in a straight line from us, but we felt it, rock and roll for some minutes. Damage in the towns nearer to the epicentre, lots of homes with roof, wall, bricks and interiors in a bad way. We are safe for now. right now a cold southerly wind, 12 Celsius, about 52F, the fire is going and snug inside. Greetings to all, Jean.
