Another Ginger Boy

No photos yet, we have a wandering boy??( not identified as such yet) at our place. Large, Ginger and white, and very fluffy. He comes in at 10.30 p.m. samples left -overs on Felicity’s plate, wanders to our bedroom, nibbles her biscuits, then strolls out again.Hugh thinks we should adopt him.

I wonder what Tom would think, as he adopted us, and strolled in and out for some years.

“What greater gift than the love of a cat?”

Hello Nancy !
What a sweet cat. I think he needs a home and a lot of love. He will be a good friend.
Thank you very much for your nice comment on my blog.
Greetings :-)

Hi Theresa and Ela, yes the new fellow is a big boy? and we miss our other 2 ginger ones so much, the boys have something so special. Two cat doors, one into the laundry, not sure if he uses that one, the other into the dining room, he went out there, the other night in a huge rush when he realised I was still in another room. Tom took months before we could pat him, and a long time later till he actually stayed inside for a night. Gradually he stayed more and more. But we knew he had another home nearby, but couldn't find where it was. One day, I think they moved, and he went with them. So another ginger fellow would brighten up our home once again. Greetings from Jean.

We had a cat years ago show up at our house and he adopted us--I could not have been happier about it, and sounds like you just might be too!

Do you have a kitty door, where they stroll in and out! It is very nice of your to adopt these kitties. Cute kitty photo, thank you for linking up to Saturday's Critters. Have a happy weekend!

How lucky he is that he has a welcoming place to suit his needs :) I grew up with a Ginger Tom and this one reminds me very much of my own. Have a great weekend :)

How funny. We had some wanderers at one house but they never let us get close.

Seems to be polite, maybe you should adopt the ginger cat.

This Ginger boy would be making a very good choice if he adopted you!!!!

Cats can be a mystery. I had several in years past but had too many allergies to keep them. He looks happy though.

I agree that there is something special about boy cats. I had three cats for a time and the one boy was so sweet in comparison to the two girls ;-)

Thank you all so much for your words. The photo is of our own "Tom", taken a few years ago. the new one is only here at 10.30 p.m. scoffs the food, and goes. Hugh suggested this morning, that if he is like Tom," Maybe we can adapt him"!!! Well, he does need some adaptation, but the word "adopt" was what he meant. I vowed after Poppy disappeared, no more cats. Maybe I will have to reconsider. I will do a post with updates of our cats, present and past, for all new readers, Welcome... and less recent ones, (I cannot put "old" as opposed to new!!!)Greetings to you all, Jean.

Thanks SK & RW, Tom was the most gentle boy ever, he crept into our lives, and hearts and stayed for several years. Never a fight, waited for the others to have their meals, then walked to his own dish. He would come in the cat door, meowing so loudly , walk to our bed, and flop heavily on the carpet. Maybe 1 a.m. So loud we would always be woken up. I am wondering if the new ginger cat will be doing the same. Who knows, only time will tell. I'll keep you all posted,(pardon the pun!!) Cheers, Jean.

It sounds like the new ginger boy is deciding to slowly adopt you! There is nothing like a ginger kitty. I hope he comes in and stays for a long, long time!

Hi all, the " new ginger boy" is now a regular visitor, coming into our bedroom !!! yes, twice last night, well once last night about 11 p.m. then again early this morning at 5.30 a.m. I have phoned around, no-one is missing him. Maybe our present for Christmas. Yes, Kate, maybe just that, an angel, bringing messages from all the others to us right now. The photo is of our own "Tom", who isn't with us any more. Greetings to all, Jean.
