Congratulations to our New Zealand All Blacks, well done. For those who got the awards, there is a huge team behind them to make this happen, and for the 6 who are retiring , a perfect finish to their career .

I have made another bag, this time for the “Mister” in the family, and not the one living here. Circular base, double stitching on all seams, it might come in for some serious hard wear.
The lupins are in full flower, white, pale mauve, deeper mauve, deep purple and pink. Glorious display, they grew so fast.

Love the bags and the lupins. I planted some lupins a week or so back - they are growing fast at present.
Congrats to the team. Love the design in the bag. It looks colorful...
Hello Jean, congrats to your team! The bags are just lovely. Your Lupines are gorgeous, lovely blooms. Have a happy new week!
Still don't understand rugby orthe Haka, but congrats to the All Blacks!
Your bag are very nice, brgt and cheerful. I love the colours.
Our trees are nearly bare, so it's a delight to see the lupines.
Oh how I love Lupins and that bag is beautiful Jean. Carol
The bags are so pretty! Soft colours like the lupins. Beautiful. I take it you like soccer....
congrats to your team. your lupines are lovely!
Congratulations to the team ! You have made a very nice bag !
I think I saw the Haka performed before I really realized that Rugby was an International sport. I have such an ecclectic education :) Glad the All Blacks made it to the top. Happy spring ya'all.
Your lupines are beautiful. They grew wild on the roads where I once lived, I miss seeing them.
Another special bag, Jean. You have really done wonderfully with your quilting projects. Your points are perfect!
Great shots Jean, wasn't it a marvellous viewing day for us even though we were up well before dawn!!
I envy you having lupins growing so beautifully, these used to run riot in England and I do miss them!!!
Thanks for posting this photo.
Your bags are beautiful! Great idea to have Mr. and Mrs. I am envious of your lupins and cherry blossoms. We are headed for frost and cold!
Any team that can display the Haka with such energy and coordination deserves to win. I know very little about the sport but I was chearing them on.
OOPS!! Did anyone realise I had a photo from a previous year of the AB's, I googled it, and later realised it was not the 2015 celebration photo. Julie, thanks for your cheers, the Japan team did so well. The Haka has been a part of NZ Rugby for many years , and recently the format was changed from the original one.And in 2019, the RWC will play in Japan.
Congrats to your team hon - that bag is spectacular, well done!!
Your lupins are gorgeous Jean, I have two, yes only two. But I intend to grow more. Yay for our fabulous boys bringing the cup back.
I just love those bags! You are such a talented woman. And the lupines are a wonderful sight because it's snowing here. We suddenly got a lot of wood so I am sitting next to a crackling fire!
Congrats to your NZABs, Jean! Loved your second bag; lucky "Mister." But it's so beautiful I might hesitate to give it serious hard wear! Lupins are wonderful, although I met a few Icelanders who weren't that trilled with them. Lupins have run amok in Iceland. I always read my third graders the book Miss Rumphius: ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Rumphius ) because it was filled with the beautiful lupins I loved as a child and also because of the profound message it contained about how to live one's life. Have a lovely spring weekend!
Glorious lupins!
The team was wonderful. Their pregame chant, haka, was amazing. It made the rounds of the internet, too.
Cheers from across the pond! xx
Yes, congrats to your team, Jean!!
Lupin are BEAUTIFUL! They grow wild here in Nova Scotia.
The bags are really quite nice, Jean. You are a very talented seamstress!
Have a good Sunday.
You are always busy creating, Jean. Lupines are some of my favorite flowers - they grow here at my altitude in summer.
Jean, I love lupines; in my home province they grow spectacularly in the wild. I've planted them three times on my property in Ontario but they have not grown. I did get plants with the last try and a flower cone that never did open. Fingers crossed now for next spring. Your bag is beautiful and I'm sure will be much appreciated.
