Trying to Post again

I am hoping the dreaded “ error 400” has gone and this will in fact be a reality.

The garden edgings are all done, and Dianthus, Gossamer grasses and unseen but lots of bulbs are all in. We get a lot more wind here, and sadly the beautiful Impatiens was  turned bronze to dark brown.

This is the front garden, and the Carex is on a stump.

Everyone who walks past stops and looks and gives us lovely comments about what a difference we have made. This was how it was with one  lonely grass.

Dione over at Clever Chameleon has started a new BOM, with  “ Love with a Twist “ balloon animals. I could not resist starting with “ Purple Poodle’. He is still on baking paper, and will have others to join along as the year progresses , just like the Bears.

Not much more news, slowly getting fabrics where they should be, and plans about to be done for bathroom alterations. Guess that is when the REAL mess will begin.

Update, this would not publish with any photos, so I will have to revert to using Blogger after all.

Meantime, quotation of the day, author unknown

“ Someday is not a day of the week”

Greetings from Jean.

Hello, it is awesome your neighbors are stopping and giving you compliments on your garden. I am sure it looks beautiful. I hope the bathroom reno goes well.
Sorry you are still having problems posting photos. I only use blogger and have no problems. Enjoy your day, have a great new week ahead.

Hi Jean ~ no, we cannot post photos with Open Live Writer anymore. I just posted using blogger and am still frustrated with it but the post is up. I am really going to miss the 'live writer' programs, the one with blogger was GREAT, but they did away with it, then we had the OLW and it was GREAT too but Google did away with both of these and that is a real bummer.

Using blogger will take some patience on my part. ;-)

Have a great week ~ FlowerLady

Pity about the photos - would love to see the garden. You have obviously done a lot of work.

I'm so sorry that the error 400 hasn't gone away :( I researched it a tiny bit and the first piece of advice was to "clear your cache and cookies". There are explanations of how to do that online if you google it. Maybe that will help? I hope so.

I hope that the bathroom alterations go smoothly.

Pictures or not, I love hearing from you and think of you often as my little "Quilt with a friend" travels across town daily holding my piecing work in place. I get very frustrated with changes blogger is often making ... now some that don't let some friends post a comment or are selective as to what will come to my in-box.

Blogger is getting to be so frustrating!
