Please send me a Modem!!!

I have been deprived of all blogs, emails, internet, for 3 days!!! Late Sunday night,  our Belkin Modem Router stopped working. Long story, but suffice to say, we have a new replacement one, from Harvey Norman, they honoured the lifetime warranty, on the box of the old one, luckily I kept the box and docket. Thanks, girls.

A lot of trouble getting both our laptops conformed to new configuration, finally done by 5 p.m. today.

Have I missed anything  important?? Of course I have, all blog news is so important, that  housework, meals, and laundry can wait!!!

Lots of catching up to do, emails to reply, etc.

Meanwhile the garden flowers are blooming, vege seeds growing, lawn is thriving, way too fast, needs cutting every 7 days. A few pics from the garden.

We have news that a very dear friend is so ill in Wellington Hospital.

My heart sags to depths so deep,  and words are hard to find.

Quotation of the day, author unknown

“ Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,

so love the people who treat you right,

forgive the ones who don’t,

and believe that everything happens for a reason”

Greetings from Jean

I think you have enough challenges without crazy computer issues!
Love the quote.

Oh my - your flowers are gorgeous. Perhaps I can keep the "spring" in my step by looking at your photos of spring!

I'm so sorry about your friend...

Jean, I am so glad you are back "in action" again! You have shared some beautiful photos here, thank you so much!

Hi Julie, KB and Linda, yes, the computer problem took 3 phone calls, each about one hour long, had to reprogram the modem, done, then my Outlook would not receive emails, another one hour call, then Hugh's laptop would not connect to the internet. One more hour call, that could not be fixed, consult your own technician!!! Wireless adapter is at fault... I went to Google, that wonderful fount of all info, checked the PC for all workings, went back and logged in using another password. Bingo!!!Yes, flowers do brighten each day right now. Greetings to all, Jean.

Lovely flowers and a wonderful parting quote..one I try to live by.

Thanks Ashling, I think, sadly, this will be a non-recovery, and it was sooo hard to find a suitable card. Your words help at this sad time. Terri, our flowers are "busting out", and with rain and wind today, glad I managed some pics the other day. And the quote, yes, we can all relate to those words. Greetings, Jean.

So many beautiful blooms, Jean - just when I am covered in snow. Hope Hugh is much better, and you're both sleeping well.

Hello Jean. Doing some catching up here.
Your garden flowers look just lovely!
As we are putting our garden 'to bed' for the winter, you are tending yours in all its glory.

Oh the colors are certainly surrounding you now. I am just surrounded by golden colors and loving it. But thoughts of downsizing seem to be very prevelant these days. Found a property closer to town. But means starting from scatch again. Hope you both a feeling better these day. I do prayer for your friend. I have been having commenting problems for a week now so I hope this works.

Hi Carrie, your comments are coming in OK. Are you thinking of moving too?? Huge upheaval at any time, and at our age, it all seems a bit too hard at times. I hope you can both find a decision that suits you well. Cheers, Jean.
