50% of “ Not Much At All”

Today was a very “go slow” day, the blood test verdict was a viral infection. I  always thought this was the diagnosis when a Doctor was not sure of what might be /could be/ maybe was wrong. But I have to accept this time he was correct. And it might linger for some time.So…. “Go Slow”…. will be around for a while.

Tonight we had sunshine that shone brightly, trees lime green in the  late afternoon daylight . Poppy sat, sentry guard silhouette, then leapt to look at something in the grass below.

Grey clouds to the North, and our tall trees in the garden.

So sorry to hear you have been unwell but glad that you are on the mend. Yes, the rain was lovely - I could almost watch the weeds growing, but I don't like the much cooler temperatures. Take care, Warm regards.

Go slow is good advice. Just take each day as it comes enjoying and being thankful for your many blessings and before long you will be well again.

Good day Jean. I am sorry you have to deal with a viral infection but as I am sure you are aware sometimes 'things happen' and we just have to move forward.....with our glass half full! Please take care of yourself and don't push yourself like I suspect you may. Be gentle.
Your photos are lovely and I do see the resemblance of your trees to 'my' bridge.
I hear there was a tsunami warning in NZ but has been called off....phew! Too bad for the Soloman victims and the survivors though. Must be a very scary experience to say the least!
Take care of yourself and listen to Dr.Jim (a want to be doctor) and rest......everything will get done and if it doesn't, who cares!

Take it one day at a time and soon you'll be back to normal.

So sorry you aren't feeling well. Be gentle with yourself, rest in the sun, and hopefully all will be back to normal soon!

Thank you all for lovely words of caring and gentle advice. I am resting more, taking it slowly, and this morning the percentage barometer has crept slowly up to the 75% level. Jim, you are a marvel, "wannabe", maybe, but in your heart already there. The spiral log cabin has sat, lonely, by itself,no good trying to do complicated stitching right now.Thankful for all I already have,Lorraine,as you are every day, I can but learn from each of you.Carol, Ashling and June, you have had your unwell days also, understanding is a huge link in our lives in whatever aspect, health, joy, sadness, photography, quilting, and this wonderful band of friends. Greetings, Jean.

I've always thought the same about the "virus" diagnosis, but I agree with the "go slow." Rest and take it easy, my friend! xoxox

Hi bookbabie, Lilli, i have hopped to your website, love it, you are another addition to my sidebar list, it changes and alters, and so expands my interests,Hope you are recovering, I'm hoping my virus is the "short-lived" variety. Kat, yes, I have to admit I might have been wrong so many times, so will reserve opinions from now on. Rest today, do a little more tomorrow, Thanks all for lovely words. Greetings from Jean

Life has been overwhelming so I missed the post saying that you were in the hospital. Oh my. I'm glad that you're okay. And, yes, go slow. It's time to rest and heal.

Another beautiful quote and lovely photos...
