Raindrops on Blossoms

We had rain overnight, grey skies again this morning, a smidgeon of sunshine peeping through the clouds.

Jim, up North in Nova Scotia,  we do have sunshine, but this year  it is having an extended holiday.

Yesterday we reached 30 Celsius, way too  hot for outside work. This morning grey clouds scattered their way across the morning, with a peep of sunshine coming in when I returned to the Easterly view.

This is looking to the East, not a glimmer of sun yet.

over to the Western side, much the same.

Back to the East, and a glimmer of light shining through the clouds.

Here comes the sun

Quotation of the day, author unknown

“ When the wind blows at gale force, hurl the sails,

ride out the storm,

and reach calmer water in due course”

It's wet and warm in our town too Jean. It's a bit like living in the tropics. Lets hope we get some sunshine for Christmas Day.

What I wouldn't give for more sunshine. We have had a few hours of sunshine two days out of the last 3 1/2 weeks. It's maddening. Beautiful images. I see a tad bit of blue sky peeking through. Merry Christmas Jean and Hugh. Carol

We finally had some sun today. I was happy to see it! The fire is on, we're at -7 C. and I'm hoping it won't be a long winter!
Hubby saw a coyWolf Wed. and we are running out measuring tracks! How silly!
Cheers from up north!

You would make a wonderful weather announcer. It's like a breath of fresh air to read you words.
