Santa gave me a new MacBook. !!!

Hello to all my friends, and so many thanks for the wishes for our Dani. She is home, no surgery, inconclusive is the verdict. however a watch and wait for now.
This morning, Boxing Day down here, all the sales start. And as I had been looking at a new laptop for some time, Hugh suggested we go shopping this morning. The usual mad crowds everywhere, but I went in with the product number, and all the details.
So this is a totally new way for me, lots to learn, no photos loaded yet, and Facebook didn't want to know me in my original name or email.
However the plus's are many, and in time I will master/ conquer this new wonder.
Quotation of the day, author unknown

Make the most of today, plan for tomorrow,
and be thankful for the sunrise every morning

Greetings from Jean

So glad Dani is home from hospital although not with a complete diagnosis. A new MacBook! How exciting. Santa knows you've been a very good girl! I love my 2008 iMac which still works perfectly.

Always new hoops to jump through ... and by the time you get them all figured out, they will all change again.
Glad Dani is back home.Take care and enjoy your holidays.

You'll love your MacBook! I have one too. Once all your sites have you logged in, they will start to recognize your computer. I highly recommend putting a container add-on for Facebook so it cannot track your activities.

Technology is always changing so it takes time to get to know a new item. Enjoy your new laptop.

How nice! A new laptop means a lot of time learning new things (and that always means a bit of aggravation for me when it has to do with computers) but I know when you master it all you will use it constantly!

Yea to good news at this time of year especially. And a big yes to a new laptop and a Mac at that. I know I've had lots to learn with my new Acer which is good for the brain...though a little frustrating the odd time. Meanwhile, hope you and Hugh have a wonderful season and the grand daughter continues to improve.

You'll love it! I finally traded in my 10 year old one for a new 16" Macbook Pro before Christmas. I can't believe how much better the screen is. I hope Dani is recovering well. Happy New Year to you and Hugh!
