Pink blossom and cats eyes

darker shades before they fade
The Blossom has come into full bloom, just before the rain and wind arrived.
On one side of the driveway the trees are taller, the blossom darker.
Three trees on the other side are short, with pale blossom, although it starts out just slightly darker.
Beautiful shades from nature.

cats eyescats tail just visible
The large black and white cat strayed across the lawn, later last night, then  visited the newly weeded part of the garden, and finally  hid in the darkening area under some trees. His eyes just visible in the camera’s flash.
It is not our cat,but regularly strolls through,  and then races off once it sees anyone near. After it went behind the bushes, I couldn't find it in the dark,I  am sure it travelled it's well worn path to safety.

Quotation of the day from  William  Shakespeare, 1564- 1616,
an excerpt from “ The Tempest”

Merrily, merrily, shall I live now
Under the blossom that hangs on the bough.
Cheers from Jean
