Rotorua Library Delights

Rotorua Public LibraryStairs to the quilting books!!
The Library is a treasure to visit, and in the week I have been  in Rotorua have visited  three times.
So many books to look at, choose to take home, and then decide on patterns to use later.
The entry foyer has the  most wonderful dollhouse.
Blair House is so detailed, the rooms  each with its own speciality.
This dollhouse is on loan from the Blair and Watson Families, so generously, and was created by Mrs Quona Blair

Four cars in Blair House

I found it hard to decide which I liked the very best and decided on the room with the spiral staircase. Then there are the cars.Number plates, a small wooden ladder at the side, is this so they can see if the roof is not needing repairs?

Two of the patterns that appealed so very much Courtesy of New Zealand Quilter. .However I now have the May FMQ 2012 challenge to tackle, these might have to wait.
